Child & Family Policy Lab
The Child & Family Policy Lab works to increase the education and economic security of Georgia’s children, young adults, and families through rigorous research and long-term partnerships with state agencies and a non-profit organization.
Our research-practice partnership conducts rigorous research using individual-level data from multiple state agencies and one non-profit organization to build, support, and improve evidence-based decision-making that serves populations experiencing vulnerabilities in Georgia. We apply both quantitative and qualitative methodological expertise to policy problems and apply a holistic approach to our work.
Our structure and model support the analysis of problems and solutions across agencies, families, lifetimes, and generations. By combining data and subject matter expertise across agencies with academic researchers, Child & Family provides an innovative approach that prioritizes actionable research that can help improve people’s lives.
