The Georgia Policy Labs is hosting a webinar to explore equitable access to meaningful lifelong learning and employment opportunities in Georgia. Researchers from GPL’s Child & Family Policy Lab will be joined by staff from Voices for Georgia’s Children, the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students, the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute and research staff from our government partners. The moderated panels will review recent trends of three key programs/resources: Georgia’s Childcare and Parent Services Program (CAPS), Georgia’s Pre-K Program, and financial aid administered through the University System of Georgia. The panelists will highlight inequities and make recommendations for what Georgia can do to pursue more equitable access to opportunity.
