- Alfredo Martin is a Ph.D. student in Economics at Georgia State University. His research interest is in the intersection between the economics of education, labor economics, and poverty/inequality/social mobility. He is writing his dissertation on technical education and its opportunities and risks for low-income students. Before joining the Georgia Policy Labs, he worked as a research assistant at the Education Policy Initiative at the University of Michigan, where he earned a Masters in Public Policy. Alfredo also has a Masters in Economics from the University of Chile and a J.D. in Law from University Diego Portales in Chile.
