- Biography
- Kate Caton is a graduate research assistant with the Georgia Policy Labs. They are a doctoral student in the Research, Measurement, and Statistics program in the Department of Educational Policy Studies in the College of Education and Human Development. Their research interests include rural students, teachers, and schools, the impacts of place and space on student outcomes and policies, intersectionality, peer effects, teacher effectiveness, mixed methodologies, and program evaluation. Kate has experience working with and connecting school district data both within and across districts and spatial education data. Prior to coming to GSU, they worked as an international student and scholar advisor at the University of North Georgia and a program officer for the Institute of International Education. They received their Master of Public Administration from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
