Lauren Forbes is a graduate research assistant with the Georgia Policy Labs. She is currently pursing a Ph.D. in public policy at Georgia State University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in public health from Drexel University. Her research interests broadly include intergenerational poverty, African-American families, child development, structural violence, community development, program evaluation, data visualization, and mixed methods research.
