- Rodrigo Aranda Balcazar is a postdoctoral research associate with the Child and Family Policy Lab in the Georgia Policy Labs. He specializes in applied microeconomics with a focus on health, environmental, and development economics. His work has centered on measuring the effect that public policies, high-profile events, and a changing environment have on individual behaviors. He received his doctorate from Tulane University and has worked at the National Council for Social Policy Evaluation (CONEVAL) in Mexico prior to Georgia State University.
